About

What's with the name?

Scissor-tailed Flycatchers are a member of the Kingbird genus Tyrannus and have a striking gray, white, and salmon-pink coloring. Although they can be found all over the heartland and are the state bird of our home state of Oklahoma, their coloring is reminiscent of the fish found in our current home in the Columbia River Gorge.

What can I expect to find on this website?

We offer an assortment of artisan crafts and handmade goods. You can consistently find soap (and other bath products) and occasionally find fiber and paper arts and other miscellaneous artwork made by our family. We love to create and share our creations with the world, and are always looking to expand our skillset and offerings.

Tell me about your soap!

Our soap is handmade in small batches with a focus on high quality, sustainable ingredients. We locally source ingredients from Pacific Northwest companies when possible. We're rapidly working to expand our line to include something for everyone, from fun for kids to simple ingredients for sensitive skin.
